Our newly refurbished INTO Queen’s University Belfast centre opened in January 2010.

The Centre, located within walking distance of both the University campus and Elms Village student accommodation, provides an innovative learning environment for international students studying on the pre-university academic programmes or English language courses.

Students are offered university-style teaching, including lectures, seminars and tutorials, and a supported e-learning environment dedicated to the welfare of students.

Located within two Georgian houses, the centre has been renovated to the highest standard, with excellent facilities including:

    • A lecture theatre
    • Multi-media and language laboratories
    • A learning resource centre
    • Tutorial and teaching classrooms
    • A main reception area
    • Administrative offices
    • Student support services
    • Café and sociable communal areas

Students studying on the Centre's university preparation courses can choose to live within Elms BT9 – a modern, purpose-built student village with facilities for approximately 1,650 students.

If staying on campus, students can choose from three different room types: Twin Studio, Single Studio or Single En Suite. Each room offers a comfortable and safe living space with an en suite or shared bathroom and a private or shared kitchen. There are five dedicated accommodation blocks for INTO students, providing more than 500 study bedrooms.
