Challenges

The University of Stirling, located in central Scotland, is known internationally for its high-quality teaching and research. A decade ago, the University took a strategic decision to further enhance its international outlook and diversify its student body by investing in the student experience, expanding global education partnerships, and entering new overseas markets.

Additionally, the University recognized the opportunity to expand its portfolio and provide additional pathways for students. The strategic partnership with INTO has been crucial in developing an enhanced portfolio of foundation programs to support a sustained pipeline of students advancing onto Stirling degrees.

Solutions

  • Created and launched INTO University of Stirling, based at a purpose-built centre on the University campus.
  • Fully integrated INTO Stirling students into the University community.
  • Connected the University’s international student recruitment team with INTO’s global network.
  • Developed a suite of preparation programs that seamlessly articulate with the University curriculum.
  • Provided a comprehensive student support and tutoring package.
